CALIBIRDS

This club is a volunteer run and staffed, non-competitive club and aims to introduce students to the art of calisthenics. Calisthenics is seen as a year long commitment and we will have 2 concerts per year one mid year for parents and imediate family an end of year concert to showcase the students work from the year to parents, relatives, friends and general public

This is a fun way to get kids involved in exercise and build team work skills and life-long friends.

Introducing the Team

Kylie Greening - Principal Coach/Owner

Hello, I have been involved with calisthenics for many years since I was a young girl and also have a background in gymnastics. I have been in competitive clubs competing from Sub-Junior level up to Seniors. I started coaching in 2008 and have also been an active after school coach. I decided to start my own l club in 2014 to bring the love of calisthenics to a new part of the Adelaide hills without the pressure of competition however I believe in strong fundamentals and having my students learn correct technique and performing at their best whilst having fun. I am the coach for the Juniors-Seniors team whilst supervising the other coaches in the club.

He has been studying and working with our principal coach on proper technique, musicality and cerography. He is now coaching our sub-junior team in coming years whilst continuing to develop his skills.

Emma Reavey - Assistant Coach

She has been competing with another club in South Australia and has come away with multiple medals at the Pan Pac Games held in Queensland. She assists with costumes, training and concert days. With her knowledge of calisthenics and passion she is a great asset to our principal coach as well as a source of inspiration, information and encouragement for our other coaches and their students.
